#ParisianHousing | RESIDENTIAL PROJECT

Placed in a suburban area of Paris, Boulogne-Billancourt and Neuilly-sur-Seine, this project serves as an architectural, historical, and social reflection of Paris. The concpetion of a central courtyard serves use to the public and private, revealing the versatility and harmonious features of its urban form.

#ParisianDwellingUnits

In general, in densely populated urban areas, it is common to find smaller apartments due to space constraints and existing layouts that make up the city’s urban fabric.

location: Boulogne-Billancourt entre les rues Emile Landrin, Paul Adolphe Souriau, Thiers et l’avenue Edouard Vaillan

DESIGN

The cul-de-sac of the site was strategically closed with infrastructre containing an art gallery, showcasing local art and beautiful views on the ground level.

Large scale model making in architecture is a captivating and integral aspect of the design process, serving as a tangible bridge between imagination and reality. Playing with scale and simple forms, enables a wide range of experiences to take place within the same environment, catering to a variety of different needs, reflecting a sense of home.  This massing model was handcrafted using cardboard modelling materials and completed at École nationale supérieure D’Architecture, in Paris, during my semester abroad during Winter 2023.
